My photos on Flickr are here: Apple Crisp. There are many sets of shots which can easily be navigated. For instance, I have a set called “Mala,” another on “Prayer Flags,” a set on Lama Wangdor’s visit to Mt. Shasta in 2005, a Mt. Shasta set, a Russell Guitars set, and so on. I started a group called “Mala” also, and a Flickr friend hosts one called “Prayer Flags.” In that group you will see fantastic photos of prayer flags from all over the world.
So much can be learned by sharing photos and ideas with others on Flickr. There is also a wealth of information for photographers of all levels.  And Flickr can be used for research, which is an aspect I take advantage of frequently. Choose your topic and search in various ways to mine the gold.  You can search discussions, photos, or groups. Sometimes there is an entire group of photos dedicated to exactly what you are interested in. Flickr is free, and for $25 a year, you get more features - worth every penny and more.
Try a search on “meditation” or “Tibet” or “India” or “spirituality” and see what you find. You will be inspired by the photos, descriptions, details, and commentary shared. For those who wish to work on the technical aspect of their photography, there are many groups created for certain cameras, for photographic techniques, or for learning specific software.
I highly recommend Flickr and will see you there if you decide to join. You do not have to be a photographer, by the way. You can join to have easy access to the abundance of photos and information there - be able to organize and save your finds - and just enjoy it as a viewer.
